Tammy has been practicing since 2008. She is an adjunct professor at Russell Sage
College and is a national speaker in the areas of Mood Disorders and Treatment. Tammy provides Assessment, Diagnosis and Medication Management for children and adults. Tammy uses an Integrative approach, looking at the whole person. This approach fosters a partnership between provider and patient, allowing both to work toward the common goal of optimum health.
Kim is originally from the Capital District. After 20 years of active duty service in the U.S. Navy, she retired and returned to the area. Kim graduated from Stony Brook
University and is now employed as an adjunct professor for the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse
Practitioner Program. Kim is passionate about providing a patient-centered, science-based,
integrative approach to care. She provides personalized treatment plans considering the patient
history, lifestyle factors, and genetic variables to treat illness as well as promote overall health
Lynn graduated from the State University at Albany and then received her graduate degree in Mental Health Counseling from Lesley College in 2000. Her career has given her a wide range of experience from working with the senior population to adolescents. Most recently she was the director of a social service program focusing on adults and children, a position she held for 10 years. She has experience engaging her clients and assisting them through many life situations and mental health issues. These have included anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, and loss.
Jennifer Sampson, LCSW-R is a New York state Licensed Clinical Social Worker offering therapy services to individuals and families. Jennifer earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Wisconsin with a major in Sociology. She continued her education to earn her MSW from Loyola University in Chicago, IL. Jennifer has over 16 years of experience providing mental health treatment for children, adolescents and their families. Jennifer began her career employed with the Lake County, IL Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health Program. Additionally, Jennifer spent two years running a program in Urbana, IL for women at risk or experiencing postpartum depression and anxiety. In 2011 Jennifer relocated with her family to Niskayuna NY and has been employed for the last 5 years as a Clinician at Vanderheyden, Inc. working specifically with an adolescent population. Jennifer utilizes an eclectic client centered approach to treat the unique needs of each person. Areas of expertise include, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy, Trauma Informed Care, and Family Therapy. Jennifer has a long history of treating issues stemming from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Anxiety and Depression to include Postpartum Depression.
Originally from Buffalo,NY where she worked with the elderly and disabled, Ms. Tedesco has more recently been a resident of the capital district for 32 years. For the past 31+, she has worked with children and families in a variety of positions at Saint Anne Institute In Albany, NY. The focus of her work is on trauma-informed, solution-focused cognitive behavior therapies.
