Erica Buhler

Erica began her career in the behavioral health field in 2006 where she provided case management services for adults with mental health and substances abuse issues at Unity House in Troy, NY. Erica returned to school in 2009 to pursue her Bachelor and Masters Degrees in Social Welfare. Completing her MSW in 2012 Erica began her career as a Social Worker working with children and families at Berkshire Farm in Schenectady, NY. She later continued her work with children and families at St. Mary’s Children’s Mental Health Clinic in Amsterdam, NY until advancing to a supervisory role for St. Mary’s Addictions Clinic. Erica later returned to providing individual and family therapy in Saratoga County as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

Erica is trained and experienced in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Solution Focused Therapy, as well as Strength-Based Approach. Erica is also seeking training and certification in Perinatal Mental Health. Erica has experience treating Depression, Anxiety, Posttraumatic Stress Disorder.
